Draka Distribution is back from the European Film Market with new important acquisitions, to release in 2022 and 2023.
Screened at the last Sundance Film Festival the futuristic and innovative “Strawberry Mansion” / “La casa di fragola” (USA 2021) by Kentucker Audley e Albert Birney - Nominated as NEXT Innovator Award at Sundance 2021; the fantasy feature “L’arracheuse de temps” / La mietitrice dei tempi” (Canada 2021) by Francis Leclerc; the epic-saga of “Kingslayer”/ “Riccardo Cuor di Leone” (UK 2022) by the BAFTA winner director Stuart Brennan; “The Siege of Robin Hood”/ “La saga di Robin Hood” (Australia 2021) by Paul Allica and “The Adventures of Maid Marian”/ “Le avventure di Lady Marian” (UK 2022) by Bill Thomas.
Finally, the great acquisition of the award-winning drama-comedy “Cat in the Wall” (UK, Francia, Bulgaria 2019): Nomination at the European Film Award and Official Selection at Locarno Film Festival; directed by Vesela Kazakova and Mina Mileva (already nominated in Cannes 2021 – Un certain Regard for “Women do cry”).
