Draka Distribution is a distribution company established on the international and national stage.
The editorial policy is focused on stories about the protagonists of the art history, fantasy and animation movies and exotic setting. The company has a rich catalogue of films, TV series and documentaries, both Italian and foreign, for a wide look at the independent quality audiovisual market. Draka Distribution distributes also all the movies by its twin company, Draka Production.
The last titles released in the Italian theaters are the Latvian “Away” by Gints Zilbalodis, a great silent animation movie; the French drama “Gauguin” directed by Eduard Deluc, a Studio Canal and Canal Plus co-production, starring a very intense Vincent Cassel in the role of the master of the Post-Impressionism; the Spanish animation movie “Buñuel in the labyrinth of turtles” (European Film Awards as the Best Animation Movie 2019) by Salvador Simò, about the great director of the Surrealism Luis Buñuel.

The last acquisitions at the European Film Market 2022 are: the futuristic and innovative “Strawberry Mansion” / “La casa di fragola” (USA 2021) by Kentucker Audley e Albert Birney  - Nominated as NEXT Innovator Award at Sundance 2021; the fantasy feature “L’arracheuse de temps” / La mietitrice del tempo” (Canada 2021) by Francis Leclerc; the epic-saga of “Kingslayer”/ “Riccardo Cuor di Leone” (UK 2022) by the BAFTA winner director Stuart Brennan; “The Siege of Robin Hood”/ “La saga di Robin Hood” (Australia 2021) by Paul Allica and “The Adventures of Maid Marian”/ “Le avventure di Lady Marian” (UK 2022) by Bill Thomas.

Finally, the great acquisition of the award-winning drama-comedy “Cat in the Wall” (UK, Francia, Bulgaria 2019): Nomination at the European Film Award and Official Selection at Locarno Film Festival; directed by Vesela Kazakova and Mina Mileva (already nominated in Cannes 2021 – Un certain Regard for “Women do cry”) and the historical drama Monte Verità, also in Competition at Locarno Film Festival.
